Description & Requirements
The candidate will be reporting to Divisional Commercial Manager and will be leading a team of quantity surveyors, handling all the matters related to claims, contractual administration and commercial management for the project.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Divisional Commercial Manager in formulating and executing across construction project;
- Develop and implement project commercial strategies and procedure, and provide contractual and commercial advice to the project team;
- Supervise the preparation of commercial review of tenders, sub-contract tender and related documentation;
- Supervise, approve and endorse final project accounts and claim submissions;
- Review divisional forecasts, budgets and cost reports.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, preferably with MHKIS or MRICS professional qualifications;
- Minimum 15 years’ of solid commercial experience, preferably with 3 years’ in a supervisory experience, with a proven track record of independently managing a team of quantity surveyors;
- Experience with Design and Build/ NEC contract experience is highly desirable;
- Guaranteed Maximum Price contract experience is advantageous;
- Strong business acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving and leadership skills;
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
